dc.description.abstract | The research topic "Factors Influencing the Adoption of Accounting Software in Small and
Medium-sized Enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City" aims to identify factors that impact the
intention to adopt accounting software for businesses that have not yet implemented it or intend
to upgrade and expand the features of accounting software for those already using it. The study
is conducted in Ho Chi Minh City, targeting business owners, managers, and accounting
departments of small and medium-sized enterprises either currently using accounting software
or not. The objective is to determine the demand for application and analyse which factors
significantly influence these enterprises' adoption of accounting software. The author
concludes by providing recommendations for businesses using accounting software and for
software solution providers. The purpose is to contribute to helping small enterprises enhance
their accounting information systems, thereby improving competitiveness and the efficiency of
business operations.
The research proposes several influencing factors, including managerial support, relative
advantage, cost, adoption risk, and procedure changing pressure, assuming that these factors
