This study examines the capital diversity impact on the profits and risks of Vietnamese commercial banks over the past six years, utilizing data from 23 Vietnamese commercial banks and employing a regression analysis method for annual data from 2018 to 2023. The findings reveal that diverse financial sources do not influence the profitability and risk of the Vietnamese commercial banking system. Additionally, contrary to many other studies, the profits and risks of Vietnamese commercial banks are not affected by the Covid 19 pandemic. Therefore, moving forward, Vietnamese commercial banks should develop distinct policies for business operations after the Covid-19 pandemic is under controlen_US
