dc.description.abstractPurpose – Within the context of dynamic growth of sustainability, businesses rely on corporate social responsibility implementations and relevant enabling factors to facilitate their pivotal success. This study seeks to unveil the comprehensive relationships among environmental regulations, CSR initiatives, corporate reputation, and ethical culture impacting on business outcomes guided by stakeholder theory. Design/methodology/approach – The research used a quantitative survey obtained 107 valid responses from diverse industries and company sizes in Ho Chi Minh area and surroundings of Viet Nam. Convenience and snowball sampling methods were utilized in the data collection. The study then employed the PLS-SEM modelling to evaluate all proposed hypothesis. Findings – The study analysis indicated that there are significantly positive relationships among environmental regulation, corporate social responsibility, ethical culture, and firm reputation towards business achievement. Notably, environmental policies can influence the organizational outcomes by taking impact on CSR practices which is mediating in the link of policies and organizational code of ethics. Originality/value – the research findings offer detailed insights to firm strategists on driving business management effectively in line with sustainable development. By pursuing implementing regulations, organizations can enhance their image and impact on social contributions through utilization of CSR strategy leading them to sustainable growth in both long-term and short-term.en_US
