dc.description.abstract | The Vietnamese manufacturing industry is undergoing significant transformation, driven by
increasing globalization, technological advancements, and rising competition. To remain
competitive, Vietnamese manufacturing organizations need to foster innovation and creativity
among their employees. Ethical leadership and knowledge sharing are recognized as key
factors that can drive employee innovation work behavior.
This research explores how ethical leadership impacts employee innovation in Vietnam's
manufacturing sector, focusing on the linking function of knowledge sharing, particularly its
tacit and explicit forms.
This study employs a convenience sampling method, targeting employees from diverse
Vietnamese organizations. Data collection is conducted through an online survey using a
Google Forms questionnaire, distributed through popular social media platforms like
Facebook and Zalo to reach a wider audience. The sample size is expected to be
approximately 280 participants.
This study adds to our comprehension of ethical leadership, knowledge sharing, and
employee innovation by providing quantitative data from the Vietnamese context.The
primary goal of the study is to demonstrate the positive contribution of EL on knowledge
sharing and its subsequent impact on employee innovation. Furthermore, by examining the
tacit and explicit factors of knowledge sharing, the study will provide a deeper understanding
of how knowledge sharing influences innovation outcomes.
The implications of this study can benefit organizations in Vietnam by highlighting the
significance of ethical leadership in fostering innovation and promoting knowledge sharing
practices. The findings can guide leaders and managers in developing strategies and policies
that encourage ethical behavior, enhance knowledge sharing processes, and ultimately drive
employee innovation.
In conclusion, This research illuminates the growing understanding of ethical leadership,
knowledge sharing, and employee innovation. By examining these relationships within the
Vietnamese context, it provides valuable insights for both researchers and practitioners who
