dc.description.abstractPurpose - The purpose of this research is to clarify the meaning of employee engagement and find the factors that have the strongest affect on employee engagement, thereby helping MB Bank in Ho Chi Minh City implement effective employee retention. Design/methodology/approach -The investigator conducted an online survey including a questionnaire. The results were 298 valid answers and were processed through SPSS software. Findings - The conclusion of the study shows that five factors: responsible leadership, work environment, teamwork, work design and learning & development all have a positive affect on employee engagement. Moreover, work design is the most influential factor that makes employees make decisions to stick with MB Bank in Ho Chi Minh city. Research limitations/implications - The research was only limited to Ho Chi Minh City, so it could not be comprehensive. Next, MB employees participating in the survey were not evenly distributed among branches. Originality/ Value - The research was conducted with the hope of helping organizations better understand employee engagement, specifically MB Bank. Furthermore, it is to accurately determine the factors that positively affect employee engagement.en_US
