dc.description.abstract | The attainment of a satisfactory equilibrium between work and personal life
remains a considerable obstacle for female teachers, particularly in regions like Bien Hoa
City. This research aims to examine the specific sources of stress related to work and family
that contribute to conflicts between work and family responsibilities among female
teachers in this urban area. Employing a quantitative research approach, data was collected
from 401 female teachers using a structured questionnaire. The study employs structural
equation modeling (SEM) to examine the correlation between these stressors and work-life
balance, as well as their impact on career outcomes and personal and professional aspects.
The findings indicate that both work-related and family-related stressors significantly
contribute to conflicts, which subsequently have a negative impact on work-life balance.
Additionally, the results emphasize the influence of demographic factors such as age,
marital status, and family structure in moderating these relationships. This study enhances
our comprehension of the challenges faced by female teachers in Vietnam regarding work life balance and offers valuable insights for policymakers and educational administrators.
By addressing these stressors, the study aims to improve the job satisfaction, personal well being, and professional effectiveness of female educators. | en_US |
