dc.description.abstractDistance running is a popular sport worldwide, serving as both a beneficial exercise for entertainment and an essential element of a healthy lifestyle. As a result, participating in high-quality sporting (marathon) events helps participants realize the importance of experiential purchases to improve their standard of living. In addition, satisfaction with event quality is also a factor that assists attendees perceive the importance of exercise intention and plan to return participation to that event. The study proves how sport event quality and satisfaction induce regular exercise, experiential purchase, event revisit and quality of life benefits. The mass survey was distributed among marathon participants across Vietnam. Total of 287 valid cases were collected for further analysis with partial least squares structural equation modeling. It found that there were significantly sequencing relationships from sport event quality, sport event satisfaction, experiential purchase, to quality of life benefits with all positive impacts. In addition, regular exercise had a significant positive impact on re-patronage intention. Finally, sport event quality had a significant impact on quality of life benefits.
