dc.description.abstract | This study investigates various factors of workplace physical design (furniture,
temperature, light, noise, and spatial arrangement) and their impact on the health of
Vietnamese Generation Z employees. It also investigates the relationship between
employee health and job performance. To gather data, the study employes a
questionnaire survey. The researcher collects 278 respondents through a combination
of convenience and snowball sampling methods. The results are assessed using
reliability analysis, validity analysis, and structural equation modeling. Analyses are
conducted using SPSS and AMOS software. The results show that three factors of
workplace physical design (furniture, temperature, and spatial arrangement) have a
significant and meaningful impact on employee health of Vietnamese Generation Z,
while light and noise is not found to significantly influence employee health. Results of
the study reveal that employee health has a positive and significant impact on job
performance. In addition, the study comes up with some theoretical and practical
recommendations for businesses to improve workplace design for a healthier and more
productive workforce. It also acknowledges limitations and suggests areas for future
research. | en_US |
