Aim: The globalized world has been facing rapid changes relating to economics with labor force as an important key leading to success. Pursuing an international career allows employees to take a deep dive into the diverse market and set a steady career path. In light of this trend, it is crucial to leverage the surrounding conditions for Vietnamese students to cultivate their interest in the international working environment, thereby allowing them to explore themselves with challenges to adapt and opportunities to grow up, preventing unemployment after graduation. As a result, the purpose of this research is to determine the factors influencing the interest in international working environment of undergraduate business students in Ho Chi Minh City. Design: A quantitative research approach will be applied to a valid sample size of 276 participants that are Ho Chi Minh City-based business students to assess and validate the study's hypothesis. Data collection method is an online survey which delivers questionnaires directly to individuals via Google Forms and will be posted on community groups and personal networks. Findings: While it is anticipated that interest in an international working environment would be influenced by adjustment to the international study as well as exposure and immersion, the study found out that there are only constructive relationships between the interest and individual factors like self-efficacy, family pressure and motivation for liberty/pleasure while the motivation for liberty/pleasure seems to have a reverse effect on the interest.en_US
