Software project often face complex challenges, such as late delivery and compromised product quality, which can result in increased costs and reduced customer satisfaction. This research aims to address these issues by identifying and analyzing significant constraints that hinder effective project management. To overcome these challenges, the research proposes the use of a discrete event simulation (DES) model to simulate the software development process and provide project managers with insights for experimentation and decision-making. The study employs quality tools and the ARENA simulation application to address the identified constraints and improve software project management. The research findings will contribute to enhancing project outcomes, optimizing resource allocation, and improving customer satisfaction in software development projects.en_US
