Design Supply Chain Network To Optimize Transportation System : A Case Study Of Garment Company
Abstract
This paper presented the optimization model of supply chain network design using Linear
Programming technique and Optimization Programming Language, CPLEX. A Linear
Programming model was constructed with different operational constraints and
parameters recorded from the case of company. The suggested model may be utilized to
make strategic decisions such as calculating the optimal number of facilities to reduce
total supply chain network expenses.
The objective is to develop a mathematical model to minimize the entire supply chain
network design cost in a multi-echelon network that includes multiple suppliers, multiple
warehouses, and multiple goods. When examining the multi-echelon network, the
proposed model integrates transportation costs among facilities and is validated using
data from specific situations.
