This study focuses on the optimization of the factory layout design at DPC Production Company, a leading textile cord manufacturer in Vietnam. The research problem addressed in this study is to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the production process by redesigning the factory layout. The research methodology involved analysing the existing layout, identifying areas for improvement, and proposing an optimised layout design. The study employed a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches, including observations, interviews, and data analysis. The results of the analysis highlighted the potential benefits of an optimized layout design, such as improved material flow, reduced distance between machines, and enhanced productivity. The conclusions of the study emphasize the significance of layout design in optimizing production processes and recommend its implementation in practice. The implications of the results include improved operational efficiency and enhanced customer satisfaction. Future research could explore the impact of the optimized layout design on other performance metrics and consider the implementation of advanced technologies for further improvements.en_US
