This research paper focuses on the application of multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) techniques to optimize the selection of parcel locker locations in the urban context of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. With the rapid growth of e-commerce and the resulting increase in last mile deliveries, efficient parcel locker placement has become crucial for reducing congestion and enhancing delivery efficiency in urban areas. This study proposes a systematic MCDM approach to address this challenge, taking into consideration various evaluation criteria, including accessibility, population density, traffic congestion, and environmental impact. The research leverages Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data and decision-making tools to identify and prioritize optimal parcel locker locations. By providing a data-driven, decision-support framework, this research aims to assist logistics operators, urban planners, and policymakers in the strategic placement of parcel lockers to enhance the urban logistics ecosystem while promoting sustainability. Parcel lockers are automated delivery systems situated at certain sites. A parcel locker is a secure storage unit used to store products until they are retrieved by a mail carrier, delivery service, residents, or customers. A parcel locker provides a fast, convenient, and safe delivery option. These lockers enable the sending and receiving of items 24/7.en_US
