dc.description.abstract | Optimizing multimodal transportation is necessary to support both the efficient movement of people and products and the sustainable development of transportation. By taking into account several objective functions, this work provides a unique routing model for the optimization of multimodal transport one-way trip issues while considering carbon emission. The created model's primary objective is to simultaneously optimize two objectives for multimodal routing by making a variety of transport options available between a pair of nodes in a transport network. The functions that must be minimized in the study's problem are the CO2 emissions and the trip time between route, however other objective functions may be taken into account. The created program enables the decision-maker to select an appropriate solution from the perspective of transport engineering from a set of Pareto solutions (corresponding to various weights of the objective functions in minimization). The paper's computational experience demonstrates the effectiveness of the suggested model. | en_US |
