dc.description.abstract | The rapid development of e-commerce logistics express delivery industry has changed people’s living habits. Express delivery sorting centers are very important in the operation of express delivery and have a direct impact on the efficiency of express delivery. This research considers the example of J&T Express Vietnam’s sorting center to evaluate the current sorting system with manual operations and suggest for improving efficiency with acceptable cost. ARENA Simulation and OptQuest are used to build models in different scenarios and generate optimal solutions for improvement. The result shows that bottle necks occur mostly in worker required activities and workers assignment is considered as an effective solution. | en_US |
