Effective management of perishable inventory presents a significant challenge for businesses like coffee chains. This thesis explores the use of demand forecasting techniques and inventory optimization to minimize waste and maximize profitability. The study proposes a system design that leverages Time series forecasting techniques for accurate demand forecasting of perishable coffee products. The system then utilizes the FEFO (First Expired, First Out) policy for inventory management, recommending optimal order quantities based on the forecasts. The proposed approach offers several benefits: reduced spoilage of perishable products, improved profitability through minimized waste and optimized ordering, enhanced customer satisfaction via consistent product availability, and data-driven decision making for inventory management.en_US
