Optimization Of Transportation Network For Export Container - Case Of The Route From Tien Giang (Vietnam) To Congo (Africa)
Abstract
The optimization of transportation network for export container is an extremely valuable
method for optimizing sea transportation routes for customers in need. This paper presents
a Mixed Integer Linear Programming approach for optimizing of the transportation
network for export containers. Based on the route from Tien Giang to Congo, this method
identifies the necessary and appropriate criteria, utilizing Genetic Approach to calculate
and determine the optimal routes and required ports along those routes.
The notable advantage of this paper is the creation of a suitable route from Vietnam to
Africa, considering real-world data and addressing the limitations of existing routes.
