In recent years, the e-wallet which is also known as an electronic wallet has become an important technology in our modern society. Consumers may quickly acquire services and things with only several clicks, without having to meet the providers in person or using cash. The motivation for doing this research is to point out the differences between two generations, the youth, and middle-aged customers, in their plan to use e-wallet in Vietnam. The adoption of e-wallet in Vietnam was investigated using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) (Venkatesh, Morris & Davis, 2003), with age being the moderator. The findings showed that while the youth care more about Perceived Usefulness, middle-aged customers have a stronger effect on Perceived Ease of Use, Trust, Social Influence, and Perceived Risk.en_US
