1.8 GHZ low noise amplifier design
Abstract
The purpose of this thesis is design, simulate and fabricate a single stage LNA circuit using the transistor model of ATF55143 at frequency 1.8GHz. The design simulation process is using Advance Design System (ADS) 2009. A single stage LNA has successfully designed with forward gain greater than 10 dB, noise figure less than 2 dB at frequency 1.8 GHz and S11, S22 about -15dB. Also the designed LNA can work stably at a frequency 1.8 GHz. I will tune and optimization value of component. After that, I will check noise figure, voltage standing wave ratio and bandwidth. Then, the real LNA circuit will be fabricated for measuring the LNA’s characteristics.
