Currently speaking in Vietnam, some factories only make weekly production schedule based on monthly or quarterly delivery plan. And production team-leaders or supervisors will be responsible for specific machine scheduling. Therefore lacking of professional experience on production knowledge such as capacity and line balancing, bottle-neck shifting, can lead to late products delivery. Motivated by this reason, this paper was created and mainly focus on using Job-shop modelcombined withcommitted deliverytime to provide optimal schedule for machine in order to ensure the minimized make span, short cycle time, and maximized utilization; while maintaining an on time committed delivery plan. Some certain heuristic algorithms in Job-shop model will be appliedto shuffle through a set of created schedules, ultimately picking out an optimal solution based on specific criteria. This method will be applied and validated in a real case at Scancom - a furniture production company. . Keywords: Schedule, Jobshop, NP – hard, Partical Swam Optimization, Jobs - Machinesen_US
