Factors influencing the adoption of electronic banking in Vietnam
Abstract
The research framework are mainly adopted from prior researches based on the extension of Technology Acceptance Model with Theory of Planned Behavior and Trust, Perceived Risk, Perceived Benefit in which 13 constructs include Actual Usage, Behavioral Intention, Attitude toward using, Perceived Behavioral Control, Subjective Norm, Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Risk, Perceived Benefit, Trust, Perceived Security, Perceived Privacy, Perceived Trustworthiness to research what constructs influenced directly to the adoption electronic banking from individuals and the differences in attitude, behavior, perception, expectation and actual usage e-banking among demographic group in Vietnam.. Questionnaires were mailed to these 875 people and 200 paper-surveys. In total, 607 responses were received and only 405 surveys were value. After analyzed with SPSS and AMOS software version 21, the study shows that there are nine out of thirteen hypotheses had significant in relation to the directly relationships of INT, ATT, PU and TR and also points out the limitations. However this model is the first to directly link two models and relative behavior factors, but ended observational state put the groundwork for further studies in Vietnam.
