dc.description.abstractThis study presents the results of indentifying factors affecting employee job satisfaction and employee exit in companies in Ho Chi Minh City and as result help to have effective and efficient management, in big cities such as Ho Chi Minh City. The research may help managers of companies to raise job satisfaction and reduce exit of office employees in Ho Chi Minh City. Based on previous researches, A model was developed by including effecting factors of employee satisfaction, their relations and effects of employee satisfaction on employee exit. The study presents the findings of office employees‟ job satisfaction and exit survey of employment factors within companies in Ho Chi Minh City. The study was conducted through questionnaire surveys with using quantitative method. The survey was conducted and covered 400 office employees in Ho Chi Minh City in 2014. The results of data analysis showed that there were groups of factors: salary - reward, teamwork, working conditions, training and individual development, supervision. There are positive and significant relationships between factors and job satisfaction and a negative relationship between employee job satisfaction and employee exit. The study reveals the relationship between the employee satisfaction and employee exit. These factors are developed in companies in Ho Chi Minh City. The results can help managers to build and develop Human resource management applications such as measuring employee job satisfaction.
