Improving employee engagement in central group
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to improving employee engagement at Central Group,
as the organization performance decreasing due to high turnover and related issues
such as low loyalty and productivity. This exploratory research was conducted among
employee working in Central Group Company to test the relationship between Career
Development opportunities, Total rewards (compensation and benefits), relationship
with supervisor, working environment, work stress and work life balance. The data
was gathered though structure of questionnaires. The researcher used statistical, more
precisely Multiple Regression to test the relationship between variables. The result
also indicates that there is significant relationship between Career Development
opportunities, Total reward (compensation and benefits), relationship with supervisor,
working environment, work stress and work life balance. Among the factors, Total
rewards (compensation and benefits) form the most significant factor. This research
was based on Trading Company in particular; hence the attribute to industry or
similarly company cannot be discovered.
