Logistics service providers' environmental management

Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is to give a full description of logistics service providers’ environment management. The purpose is also to discuss the role of logistics service providers’ environment management in their business and how it provides value to their business as well. The consequents help to provide logistics service providers a foundation for discussion of how to work towards increased environmental sustainability in their business. We chose to conduct 4 case studies to investigate the issue of environment management in logistic providers in Vietnam. More specific, we examine and assess the status of environmental management and logistics company and its important value for the firms. Findings and practical implications are presented.
