dc.description.abstract | The research was conducted to study the relationship between Team Process, Personality and Job Satisfaction by using moderating approach. In which, Team Process is measured by Task Conflict, Social Conflict, Task Interdependence and Cohesion, and Personality is measured by 5 main person manner (Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Neuroticism and Openness to experience). Specifically, the aim of the study is to measure how Team Process and Personality are related to Job Satisfaction in software industry at Ho Chi Minh City. The research is used secondary data by collecting online survey of 10 biggest software firms at HCMC. To explain how impact of and the strength of relationship between Job Satisfaction and Team Process, Personality, multiple linear regressions is used to prove that. After all, Task Conflict and Social Conflict have negative impact on Job Satisfaction at -.141, -.278 while Task Interdependence, Cohesion, moderating Personality leads Task Conflict and Task Interdependence have positive impact on employee’s satisfaction in software with Beta coefficients of .244, .192, .139 and .349 respectively. Some findings to have support on managerial implication to Vietnamese software companies and its context will be discussed detail in this paper.
