dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this research is aim to examine which effect to Petroleum engineer motivation in South of Viet Nam, identify the priority of these motivators and recommend alternatives to motivate them. The sample for this research is engineer who works in Oil and gas organization in South of Viet Nam.
Data were collected through questionnaire survey which modified from
previous study and some supplements. The survey was carried out on 30O
participants, returned 175 of respondents and 152 useable respondents and these data were processed in data analysis in order to refine and operationalize the conceptual model and to investigate the relative effects of the various factors. Result of data processing indicated that there are two factors effect to engineer motivation such as work it-self and supervision. In which work it-self is the key factor and supervision is an important factor effect to engineer motivation.
The analysis emphasizes the importance of sound managerial practices that
organization enable to establish promotion system, charging in leadership style to
provide task related motivation tools meaningful, significant and challenging. This
research also address an explanation of engineer’s motivation based on theatrical
frame work.
