dc.description.abstractGiven the blossoming of eco-innovation in various industries, the public sector also shifts its focus to this phenomenon. Their interest is not only in eco-innovation practices but also in the reciprocal relationships between green organizational culture – the foundation facility of bringing innovation into reality operations and organizational performance. Hence, the study examines the complex relationships among eco-innovation practices, organizational performance, and green organizational culture in Vietnam’s public sector, drawing on the literature on resource-based view theory which illustrates the role of organizational resources utilization to create and sustain competitiveness and success. Based on previous research, these hypotheses in this study benefit the motivations and solutions of eco-innovation and green organizational culture to facilitate the organizations' sustainability of success. Analyzing data from 200 individuals at public organizations, the study employs a partial least squares-structural equation model (PLS SEM) to reveal significant positive associations between eco-innovation practices (eco process innovation and eco-organizational innovation), and organizational green culture on organizational performance. The study highlights the pivotal role of eco-innovation in the improvement of organizational performance. Additionally, green organizational culture contributes to organizational performance through its positive impacts on eco-innovation practices. Moreover, it offers practical implications for enhancing eco-innovation, and green organizational culture, to help foster a culture of green innovation in Vietnam’s public sector.en_US
